CHEESE BLOCK PARK

Public BBQ

Cheese Block Park presents itself as a beautiful beachside destination that offers something special for ocean lovers. The pristine beach features warm water and patrolled swimming areas with flags marking safe zones for families. What makes this spot particularly appealing is its protection from larger swells, creating calmer conditions perfect for boogie boarding and family swimming. The park includes excellent facilities with shower blocks and toilet amenities, plus a scenic promenade ideal for walking and running. Parking can be challenging during busy periods, though early morning visits typically offer better availability. The location provides stunning sunset views and whale watching opportunities from Point Arkwright. Take-away food options are conveniently located across the road, making it easy to extend visits.
